Requirements
A bachelor's degree and three years of work experience are required. A master's degree and five years of relevant experience is preferred.
Additional experience or education will be considered in lieu of one another.
Must be able to travel outside of the state of Texas.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full‑Time basis.
Job OverviewThe Baylor TIP Enrollment Specialist provides exceptional customer service and support for schools, school districts, and families who partner with Baylor TIP. The Enrollment Specialist communicates our offerings to various stakeholder groups; helps schools, districts and families register for assessments and programming; notifies schools, districts, and families of admissions decisions; and maintains accurate records related to the work.
This job requires some paid travel to conferences and off‑site events. It also requires working at events held on Saturdays approximately 3‑4 times per semester. It is an in‑office position based in Waco, with some flexibility in the daily work schedule.
Responsibilities- Provide regular check‑ins via phone and email with school and district partners to offer support and receive feedback about Baylor TIP’s services.
- Assist school and district partners in registering students for online testing, especially in preparing their student data for upload into our online testing portal.
- Manage individual registrations for Baylor TIP testing and communicate with families about the testing process in a timely manner.
- Prepare admission letters and send them to families at least once a month.
- Conduct virtual information sessions about Baylor TIP for partner groups as requested; these sessions typically last an hour and may be scheduled in the evenings.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure all data is appropriately and accurately maintained in a database.
- Travel to conferences and other professional events to represent Baylor TIP and share information about the programs.
- Provide the leadership team with regular updates about the numbers of schools, districts, and families being served and the types of services they are receiving.
- Analyze trends in participation and recommend strategies to continue to grow enrollment.
- Administer individual GT testing for families that purchase it through the Center.
- Provide operational support for all programs and events, including Super Saturdays, summer programs, conferences, and the annual TIP Recognition Ceremony.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
