Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager, Administrative Management
Job Title
Perform highly complex (senior-level) supervisory, administrative and technical work to accomplish assigned objectives related to program operations of the Driver License Division.
Essential duties and responsibilities include assigning, training, and supervising the work activities of staff, overseeing performance of technical, training, research, planning, policy, program assessment, and administrative activities, serving as liaison to Manager and Assistant Manager, developing and implementing techniques for evaluating programs, communicating with internal and external customers, establishing program goals and objectives, participating in the development, implementation, and coordination of program policies, providing guidance to employees, preparing program management and productivity reports and studies, conducting and reviewing investigations, overseeing and maintaining offices, equipment and fleet vehicles, performing check rides, processing transactions, administering road skills exams, preparing and conducting seminars and presentations, directing, developing, and evaluating projects, composing schedules, reports and budget expenditures, and attending work regularly.
General qualifications and requirements include graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in business management or a related field, minimum of one year of progressively responsible work experience in office management or in administration of government or business programs, one year of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity preferred, knowledge of management and supervisory methods and principles, performance and productivity standards, fiscal/budget management, ability to exercise poise, tact, diplomacy, establish and maintain positive, working/professional relationships, ability to organize, prioritize, meet multiple and conflicting deadlines, construct and deliver clear, concise, and professional presentations, access relevant information, utilize and present research and conclusions, examine data/information, discern variations/similarities, identify trends, relationships and causal factors, grasp issues, draw accurate conclusions, solve problems, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, responsibly handle sensitive and confidential information, work in safe manner, and ability to comply with safety standards and best practices.
