Position Summary The Program Manager, Blackhawk Engine Exchange (BEE), is responsible for overseeing the operational execution, inventory management, vendor coordination, and strategic development of the program. This role ensures efficient management of engine overhauls, component repairs, inventory assets, lease engines, and overhaul storage while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, quality standards, and program performance objectives. The Program Manager serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, vendors, customers, and maintenance organizations to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions The following is a list of highlighted essential functions; but not limited to for the Blackhawk engine exchange program.

Manage engine overhaul and repair activities to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and cost-effective execution.

Oversee engine and component inventory configuration, analysis, and asset utilization strategies.

Manage inventory levels and parts availability across assigned locations to support operational requirements.

Coordinate lease engine assets, including deployment, tracking, maintenance status, and utilization.

Oversee storage, preservation, and disposition activities for engines undergoing overhaul or repair.

Develop and maintain program metrics, reporting tools, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program performance.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Coordinate with internal departments, maintenance providers, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless program execution.

Administrative Support Develop and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes supporting program objectives.

Establish and manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and contract compliance.

Analyze location-specific inventory requirements and develop strategies to support operational demand.

Prepare periodic reports, forecasts, and performance summaries for leadership review.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory planning activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Aviation Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related technical field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.

Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.

Experience7+ years of Aviation Engine experience and /or involvement in the following areas (program management, quality control, Engineering, Engine overhaul/ repair, component repair management, MRO management, production planning and support.

Aviation Turbine experience required.

P&W PT6A or similar turbine engine experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of turbine engine maintenance, overhaul processes, and MRO environments.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with business systems, inventory platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers.

Work Environment Both remote and on location.

Small direct team environment

Travel Requirements

Travel Required:

Yes Travel Time: 25%
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid passport and travel internationally as required.

Tradeshow attendance and customer visits will be required.
