Overview
Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility in Waco, TX. The 640,000 sqft. Facility is situated in the Texas Central Industrial Park and will be operating on a 24/7 schedule. The facility will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of Electrolit™ - the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US.

- Must be available during 1st shift for orientation
The primary responsibility of the Quality Technician is to support beverage production by performing routing laboratory testing, monitoring process quality and ensuring all products meet company and regulatory standards for safety, consistency, and flavor. This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze samples from raw materials, inprocess batches, and finished beverages following established protocols.
- Conduct chemical, microbiological, and sensory tests to verify product quality and compliance.
- Record, interpret, and report data accurately in quality systems and production logs.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, refractometers, titration equipment, and spectrophotometers.
- Monitor production lines for sanitation, GMP, and quality adherence throughout each shift.
- Support investigations of nonconformances, deviations, or customer complaints.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment in accordance with food safety standards.
- Follow all safety procedures, including chemical handling, PPE use, and lockout/tagout where applicable.
- Collaborate with Production, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams to uphold quality and efficiency standards.
- Participate in audits, mock recalls, and quality system reviews as needed.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned by management.
Job performance will be assessed using measurable metrics, which may include but are not limited to:
- Production output and throughput targets.

- Adherence to safety, regulatory, and compliance standards.
- Equipment uptime, utilization, and operational efficiency.
- On-time completion and schedule adherence.
- Participation in and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field preferred.
- 13 years of experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment (QA/QC lab preferred).
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food safety programs (SQF, ISO, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of laboratory testing procedures and quality metrics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic lab data systems.
- Fluency in English is required, Spanish a plus.
This position is performed primarily in a manufacturing and production environment within a beverage manufacturing facility. The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, automated and manual production equipment, wet or humid conditions, temperature variations, and moderate to high noise levels. Employees may be required to work on elevated work surfaces, platforms, ladders, or stairs, and in or around confined or restricted spaces in accordance with applicable safety procedures and training.
Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and must be worn at all times while on the production floor or in designated work areas, in accordance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, balance, push, pull, and use hands and arms to operate machinery, tools, and equipment. The role involves repetitive motions, sustained physical activity, and maintaining situational awareness in a dynamic production environment. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
Work schedules may include extended shifts, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays based on production demands.
