Schedule:

60 hours per week

Pay: $21.00/hr to start

40 hours at $21.00/hr = $840

20 overtime hours at $31.50/hr = $630.00

Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $1,470 before taxes

Position Overview:

Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. in Hewitt, TX is hiring Production Assistants for a Waco-area manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who are motivated to work consistent overtime and earn strong weekly paychecks. The Production Assistant supports machine operators and ensures efficient, safe production in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist machine operators with setup and operation of slitters, roll formers, and unwind stations.
  • Serve as a backup operator when needed to maintain workflow continuity.
  • Operate forklifts and other production equipment.
  • Perform in-process and final quality inspections.
  • Follow job specifications and adhere to all safety and quality standards.
  • Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain reliability and flexibility to work up to 60 hours per week.
  • Lift and handle materials weighing 50–75 lbs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • At least six months of manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Forklift experience is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
    • Ability to work long shifts and maintain productivity.
    • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

    Work Environment:

    • Climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
    • Requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the shift.
    • Fast-paced, team-oriented production setting.
