Could you be our next Sheet Fed Press Apprentice? American Income Life is looking for an experienced Sheet Fed Press Apprentice to join the team!

In this role, you will train and learn as an apprentice to set up and operate all sheet‑fed presses and related equipment to produce printed materials in accordance with required specifications and customer satisfaction.

This is an on‑site position located in Waco, Texas.

• Set up and operate all sheet fed presses.
• Adjust press for paper size and stock.
• Maintain correct color and coverage of ink.
• Complete documentation of jobs ordered and completed.
• Light press maintenance.
• Maintain clean area and assist in clean‑up of press.
• Learn all sheet fed presses/printing aspects to become Sheet Fed Press Operator.
• Operate manual and electric material handling equipment.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-2 mechanical printing experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge:
  Microsoft Office Suite.
• Production or warehouse experience a plus.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to work in a production facility environment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to meet minimum quotas set by management.
• Quick hand‑eye coordination.
• Quality control awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
