Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician - Nights + $1.00 Shift Differential

Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility in Waco, TX. The 640,000 sqft. facility is situated in the Texas Central Industrial Park and will be operating on a 24/7 schedule. The facility will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of Electrolit™ - the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US.

Location

Waco, TX - Onsite

  • 12 hour shifts 6:00 AM–6:30 PM / 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
  • Must be available during 1st shift for orientation
Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Industrial Maintenance Technician is to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all equipment across the facility. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining of production and facility equipment. The maintenance technician will support continuous production by optimizing system performance and minimizing downtime through proactive diagnostics and timely interventions. This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily OnSite Attendance.
  • Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
  • Performs daily, monthly, annual, and preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
  • Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
  • Work with tools, machinery, and live systems in realtime to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
  • Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
  • Identify the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
  • Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
  • Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to support operational goals.
  • Provide exceptional service and support to internal customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with cross functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

  • Equipment uptime, utilization, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma and/or technical certification in Maintenance Program, Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong mechanical background in the manufacturing industry.
  • Electrical background, including experience with low voltage and industrial wiring and electrical maintenance.
  • Familiarity with conveyors systems, fillers, blowers, automation systems, palletizers, packers, etc.
  • Comfortable with hands-on field work—must be able to work in production areas, climb ladders, and use tools in realtime troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English required, Spanish a plus.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position is performed primarily in a manufacturing and production environment within a beverage manufacturing facility. The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, automated and manual production equipment, wet or humid conditions, temperature variations, and moderate to high noise levels. Employees may be required to work on elevated work surfaces, platforms, ladders, or stairs, and in or around confined or restricted spaces in accordance with applicable safety procedures and training.

Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and must be worn at all times while on the production floor or in designated work areas, in accordance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
