The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for safely transporting, organizing, and staging materials and components required for production in a heavy industrial environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production flow, ensuring accurate inventory, and upholding safety and quality standards.
Essential Functions- Load, unload, move, and stage raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.
- Prepares orders by pulling materials and packing job kits.
- Deliver materials to production lines in a timely and accurate manner based on production schedules and work orders.
- Verify incoming and outgoing materials against documentation (packing slips, work orders, inventory lists) to ensure accuracy.
- Support inventory control by accurately labeling, counting, and recording materials in designated systems.
- Assist in tracking shortages, damaged items, and inventory discrepancies and report them to the supervisor or materials coordinator.
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas, production staging zones, and warehouse spaces.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE requirements, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and equipment operation standards.
- Participate in loading and unloading trucks and securing loads as needed.
- Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives related to material flow and workspace organization.
- Communicate effectively with production teams, supervisors, and logistics staff to ensure material needs are met proactively.

- Must have valid driver’s license
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing on factory floor.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust and varying temperatures.
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, shift times vary per manufacturing department. However, depending on workload there may be occasional longer days, and occasional weekends as needed. Employees are expected to work the hours necessary in order to timely and satisfactorily complete all necessary work tasks.

Education And Experience- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Must be computer literate and able to easily learn ERP systems.
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry.
- 3 days of PTO at 3 months, 2 additional days at 6 months, 10 days total at 2 years
