Help Power the Production Floor and Keep Materials Moving
Kinetic Custom Trailers USA Inc. is looking for an experienced and versatile Production Support / Shipping & Receiving Technician to support our Texas manufacturing operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and enjoys working across multiple areas of the shop. This position combines production floor support, shipping and receiving, materials handling, warehouse organization, and general labour responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be a dependable team player who can jump in wherever needed to help keep production moving efficiently and safely.
This role may also require the use of a company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts as needed. The successful candidate will operate various types of material handling equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, and electric lifts.
Responsibilities Production & General Labour Support- Provide general support across all areas of the production department
- Assist production teams as needed, adapting to changing priorities and tasks to meet production goals
- Fabricate, assemble, prep, and/or finish components as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions as necessary
- Assist with material staging, kitting, and movement for production
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, power tools, and other shop equipment (training provided if required)
- Load and unload materials, products, and deliveries
- Maintain housekeeping standards including cleaning, organizing, recycling, waste disposal, and restocking consumables
- Provide training and assistance to other employees as assigned and support cross-training initiatives
- Receive, inspect, document, and organize incoming materials and shipments
- Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments and deliveries
- Accurately track raw materials, fabricated components, and finished goods
- Organize and maintain warehouse and inventory storage areas
- Support stock rotation, labeling, inventory control, and material staging
- Assist with local parts pickups and deliveries using a company vehicle as required
- Maintain compliance with company safety standards in all shipping, receiving, and materials handling activities
- Understand and comply with all PPE requirements at all times
- Work safely every day and encourage all team members to do the same
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or production support roles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Forklift experience/certification or ability to obtain
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all company procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- ERP or inventory system experience considered an asset
- Competitive Pay: $22.00 to 23.50 an hour based on experience
