Job DescriptionThe Senior Supervisor, Operations Management role directs the development and implementation of activities in production to meet goals for quality, cost, and efficiency; manages operations including manufacturing, planning, engineering, testing, quality, and logistics; oversees procedures, budgets, capital expenditures, and labor; and ensures compliance with legal and safety standards, with a strong emphasis on aircraft electrical installations and modifications.
Essential Functions- Obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Develop the team’s aircraft schedules and metrics and support operational decision‑making.
- Review aircraft technical information and manage the execution of technical tasks to ensure safety, accuracy, quality, and adherence to budgetary and staffing requirements.
- Provide direction and coordination of all manufacturing operations.
- Contribute to the establishment and adherence to operational policies and procedures.
- Achieve company goals for production/sales in a timely, cost‑effective, and efficient manner.
- Assist in the planning and staffing of Manufacturing Operations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe environment for all employees.
- Represent Manufacturing Operations in internal and external meetings.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA standards and all legal requirements.
- Support manufacturing initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, SPC, CPI, AS9100).
- Comply with and enforce L3
Harris policies and Ethics codes. - Review existing and potential equipment requirements for manufacturing.
- Work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 4 years experience with aircraft electrical installations and modifications.
- Minimum 4 years experience with electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Minimum 6 months experience leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics, and employees within a team.
- Minimum 6 months experience with project management metrics like Earned Value Management methodology.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Experience on G550 platform, preferably with a focus on complex mechanical and avionics systems.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in making sound decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Strong commitment to ethical practices and integrity.
- Effective problem‑solving capabilities with a track record of implementing solutions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and resilience in overcoming obstacles.
- Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve high performance.
