Production Manager, Operations Manager
Night Shift Supervisor (Night Shift 10pm - 7am)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Night Shift Supervisor at our Waco, TX Facility. This role reports to the Plant Superintendent and oversees the efficient flow of materials and information during the off hours.
Responsibilities- Support a safe and healthy work environment based on the plant’s safety action plan.
- Support quality initiatives based on customer specifications and the Customer Experience Pillar.
- Coordinate resources according to the daily operation schedule.
- Work closely with the plant engineer, plant superintendent, and department supervisors.
- Maintain KPIs and report to management.
- Communicate and engage employees on the night shift.
- Lead shift meetings for employees.
- Manage employee training and performance as necessary.
- Assist with inventory for the maintenance department.
- Review and close maintenance work orders for effectiveness and compliance with FSSC.
- Attend the first Production Meetings of the week via phone.
- Assist with production scheduling decisions for the night shift.
- Ensure proper time and attendance of employees.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supervision or operational leadership within manufacturing.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency using MVPOne or applicable CMMS preferred.
- Proficiency using ePS, SAP, or an applicable ERP system preferred.
- Proficiency using UKG and Coupa preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering related field preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- 3+ years of supervisory or operational leadership experience in manufacturing preferred.
Annual base salary range: $80,000 – $90,000.
Annual bonus awarded upon attaining business and individual goals as defined by the company and department leader. The bonus is discretionary.
