This role exists due to steady production demand at a growing machining and fabrication facility in Central Texas.
This CNC Operator plays a key role in producing high-quality machined components for industrial and fabrication applications. The shop values accuracy, consistency, and dependable machinists who take pride in their work.
This is not a programming role — it’s ideal for a hands-on operator who enjoys running machines, maintaining quality, and keeping production flowing.

- The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Operate CNC vertical machining centers (VMCs) and CNC lathes
Load parts, run programs, and monitor machine performance
Perform minor program edits and offset adjustments at the machine
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
Perform in-process checks to ensure quality standards are maintained
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
This is a shop-floor role suited for someone who enjoys steady production work and takes ownership of part quality.

- Machines, Controls & Inspection
You’ll work with equipment such as:
Machines: CNC Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs), CNC Lathes
Controls: Fanuc / Haas-style controls (user-friendly interface)
Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, and standard precision measuring tools

- Materials You’ll Work With
Mild steel
Alloy steel
Aluminum

- What We’re Looking For
Required:
2+ years of CNC operating experience (mills and/or lathes)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Comfortable performing minor program edits and offset adjustments
Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
Must supply your own basic measuring tools
Reliable transportation to onsite Central Texas facility
Preferred:
Experience running both VMCs and lathes
Experience in a production machining environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
