Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility in Waco, TX. The 640,000 sqft. Facility is situated in the Texas Central Industrial Park and will be operating on a 24/7 schedule. The facility will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of Electrolit™ - the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US.
Position SummaryThe primary responsibility of the Process Maintenance Engineer is to be an expert for manufacturing processes, providing technical leadership and driving process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet organizational goals using continuous improvement methodologies. This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the optimal operation of their assigned plant’s manufacturing processes i.e., hands‑on process adjustments, changes to maintain required productivity, etc. This includes centerline documents and process control plans.
- Ensure products meet the organizations and customer’s quality and product integrity requirements.
- Identify root causes of problems in the production process; recommend and/or implement corrective measures.
- Train operators and troubleshoot process problems.
- Lead the maintenance activities in their assigned manufacturing process.
- Work closely with the storeroom coordinator on parts management and define long‑range goals for this area.
- Participate in a Continuous Quality Improvement team for plant process improvement.

- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of process management experience.
- Must have knowledge of the processes in the food and beverage industry, such as batching, blending, filling, and packaging equipment.
- Must have experience with conveying and warehousing equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Related work experience in a GMP environment.
- Experience leading a team of technicians.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a High School Diploma with 8 years of directly relevant experience may be considered.
- Fluency in English required, Spanish is a plus.
This position is performed primarily in a manufacturing and production environment within a beverage manufacturing facility. The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, automated and manual production equipment, wet or humid conditions, temperature variations, and moderate to high noise levels. Employees may be required to work on elevated work surfaces, platforms, ladders, or stairs, and in or around confined or restricted spaces in accordance with applicable safety procedures and training.
Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and must be worn at all times while on the production floor or in designated work areas, in accordance with OSHA standards and company safety policies. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, balance, push, pull, and use hands and arms to operate machinery, tools, and equipment.
The role involves repetitive motions, sustained physical activity, and maintaining situational awareness in a dynamic production environment. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Work schedules may include extended shifts, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays based on production demands.
