We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Production Manager
.

We are searching for a candidate with:
- Five plus years of manufacturing management experience including 3+ years of lean and continuous improvement experience.
- Lean or Lean Six Sigma training – A plus!
- Ability to operate with high urgency and personal initiative, while maintaining good coordination and communication with staff.
A typical day may include:
- Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and sales in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by the company.
- Recommend employment decisions, discipline, promotion, demotion of employees within span of control.
- Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
- Reviews production costs and product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division.
- Manage all manufacturing activity on site ensuring best practice/compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental established by the company.
- Promote a culture of adherence in cost control and productivity, ensuring maximum focus across all manufacturing activities based on established key performance indicators.
- Set aggressive but achievable targets for productivity, customer service, and safety. Continuously monitor progress towards targets and initiate corrective actions.
- Develop strong relationships with field sales representatives to meet high service expectations.
- Work with Continuous Improvement team to improve order integrity and implement Lean/Visual management techniques.
- Directs Lean initiatives and processes.
- Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by Leadership.
