Position: Manufacturing Technician I, MD Fill, B2 Shift (6pm-6:30am Wednesday-Friday & every other Saturday)

Manufacturing Technician I, MD Fill, B2 Shift (6pm-6:30am Wednesday–Friday & every other Saturday)

Full-time position with hourly compensation. Salary range: USD 18.60 – USD 33.20 per hour.

Work location:

MD Fill – Aseptic Gown, B2 night shift: 6pm–6:30am Wednesday – Friday & every other Saturday.

Overview

Performs functions associated with cGMP manufacturing operations within the biologics production facility, including working with engineers on setup and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components and final materials. Uses computerized systems (such as LIMS, SAP, automated control systems) to collect and evaluate operating data to support on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.

Assists in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process where appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Shipping finished materials
  • Maintaining inventory levels
  • Sampling of in-process and raw materials
  • Operating glass washer and autoclave
  • Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale)
  • Tangential flow filtration
  • Wear an aseptic gown during an 8-hour shift; gown covers the full body
  • Complete lot cleaning sanitation during the work shift
  • Follow all clean room entry and exit procedures
  • Wear the required aseptic gowning and PPE correctly at all times
  • Perform hand hygiene and sanitization before entering the clean room
  • Maintain aseptic technique to prevent contamination of materials and products
  • Sanitize work surfaces, tools, and equipment regularly
  • Minimize movement, talking, and unnecessary activity in the clean room
  • Inspect gowning and PPE for proper fit and integrity before use
  • Report any contamination concerns, spills, or equipment issues immediately
  • Handle sterile materials only in approved areas and in a controlled manner
  • Follow environmental monitoring and cleaning requirements
  • Dispose of waste and contaminated materials according to procedure
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
Qualifications
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of relevant experience. Associate degree in science with 1+ year relevant experience. Bachelor's degree with 0+ year relevant experience.
  • Aseptic experience (preferred)
  • Aseptic PPE experience (preferred)
  • Ability to learn company policies and procedures; perform routine tasks with limited guidance
  • Ability to recognize deviations from accepted practices
