Are you mechanically inclined, confident reading blueprints, and experienced assembling equipment or components? Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a growing local company.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, building equipment, troubleshooting problems, and seeing a finished product come together.

Pay: $18.00–$21.00/hour, based on experience

Core Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM–10:00 AM

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will assemble and fabricate mechanical parts, components, and equipment according to specifications and quality standards.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
• Assembling mechanical components and finished equipment
• Using hand and power tools including drills, screwdrivers, calipers, tape measures, and other assembly tools
• Measuring components and verifying proper fit and placement
• Performing quality checks throughout the assembly process
• Identifying defects or assembly issues and completing required documentation
• Reworking or repairing assembled equipment when specifications or engineering requirements change
• Working with components involving basic hydraulic and electrical systems
• Maintaining materials and inventory at your workstation
• Following established safety and quality procedures
• Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Troubleshooting assembly problems and determining appropriate solutions

We are looking for candidates with a strong mechanical background who can work independently, follow detailed instructions, and produce accurate, quality work.

• 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical components
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to accurately read measurements
• Basic computer navigation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Must possess your own tools
• Must be able to successfully complete a ruler/measurement test, if required
• Technical or vocational training/certification may be preferred or required depending on experience

Candidates must be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and able to:

• Regularly lift 30–50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods
• Bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks
• Use hands and fingers to accurately assemble smaller parts and components
• Work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail
