DescriptionAs an Assembler
, you will be responsible for assembling large and heavy components to complete units and subassemblies in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will regularly use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly tasks according to standard work instructions and quality requirements. You may also reassemble or rework units as needed to ensure products meet specifications.
Additional responsibilities include identifying and reporting equipment defects, participating in safety inspections, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and supporting daily housekeeping activities. Successful candidates must be able to follow safety procedures, adhere to standard work processes, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Summary Pay Range:
$18.90 -$24.60
What You Will Do:Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished units according to specifications and work instructions.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment safely and effectively.
Rework or repair units as required to meet quality standards.
Identify and report equipment defects or maintenance concerns.
Perform daily housekeeping and maintain an organized work area.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standard work instructions.
Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives while working in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift-up to 35 lbs.
6 months of work experience
Basic computer experience is required

Parts/Product Assembly Manufacturing experience
Mechanical ability
Heavy equipment manufacturing experience
Overhead hoists and/or crane experience
Torque tool experience
Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/Knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) of Standard Assembly Tools and their applications
Intermediate proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work

Hours:
1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM. Employees must be able to work mandatory overtime on Fridays when required to meet business demands.
Starting Rate: $19.59
Location: Waco, TX with the BAWA Group (BCP Assembly Waco Attachment)
