OVERVIEW

Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility in Waco, TX. The 640,000 sqft. Facility is situated in the Texas Central Industrial Park and will be operating on a 24/7 schedule. The facility will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of ElectrolitTM - the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Manager for Electrolit Manufacturing USA will be ensuring a safe, compliant work environment through training, research, and policy implementation. The Environmental, Health, Safety & Security Manager will be working with sensitive information, therefore it will require an NDA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.

· Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.

· Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.

· Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive and compliant policies with respect to workplace procedures.

· Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.

· Monitors compliance with safety procedures.

· Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.

· Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.

· Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.

· Review, approve, and ensure the accuracy of employee timecards for direct reports in accordance with company policies and payroll deadlines.

· Other duties as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

● Bachelor’s degree in environmental safety, occupational safety and health, or related field required.

● Five (5) years prior experience in related field required.

● Strong Microsoft office suite program experience required.

● Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.

● Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.

● Fluency in English required, Spanish is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is primarily performed in an office environment during standard business hours. The role involves regular use of a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate office equipment. Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and light physical activity may be required.

The employee may occasionally be required to lift or move items weighing up to 15 pounds. Employees in this role may have occasional exposure to the manufacturing and production environment, including noise, moving equipment, temperature variations, and wet or humid conditions. When entering production areas, appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in accordance with company policy. Noise levels in the primary office environment are typically low to moderate.

Work schedules may include extended shifts, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays based on production demands.
