Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med-Surg Telemetry position on a 28-bed Renal Med-Surg unit, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities- 28-bed Renal Med-Surg (Tele) unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Provides direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and facilitating discharge planning
- Navy/maroon scrubs required
- Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies that may affect the travel pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale
- SSN and a valid US home address required
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
