• Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with provider orders, nursing standards, and organizational policies.
• Perform comprehensive and focused nursing assessments, interpret findings, and develop nursing care plans.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment and elevate care concerns appropriately.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, implementation, and documentation of care.
• Prepare and administer clinic‑approved medications and vaccines per provider orders and policy (oral, IM, IV, Sub‑Q, SL, intradermal).
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results per protocol.
• Perform patient treatments and procedures including venipuncture, nebulization, catheterization, ear lavage, dressing changes, unna boot application, and IV hydration.

• Provide initial and ongoing patient education, assess learning needs, and document education provided.
• Reinforce education provided by other team members.
• Coordinate care across the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor work queues for labs, diagnostics, referrals, and orders.
• Serve as a clinical resource and support for CNAs, CMAs, and LVNs.
• Participate in orientation, competency validation, staff meetings, and quality improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Chief Nursing Officer

Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).

Current RN licensure in the state of Texas, BLS certification.
