American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a 30-bed Surgical/GI/Oncology unit, requiring night shift availability and a TX or compact RN license.
Details- 30-bed inpatient unit specializing in Surgical, GI, and Oncology patients
- Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
- Epic EMR used for charting
- 13-week contract
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Driver's License copy required for consideration
- Provides direct patient care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and coordinating discharge planning
- Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
- Navy or maroon scrubs required
- Local candidates are eligible to apply; a radius rule is in place which may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
- COVID vaccination is not required
