American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a hospital in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details- 29-bed Med/Surg unit with a cardiac and telemetry patient population
- Day shift: 06:45–19:15
- 13-week contract
- Charting performed in Epic
- Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, coordinates care across disciplines, and communicates patient condition as appropriate
- Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Navy or maroon scrubs required
- Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required
