American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med Surg Telemetry position on a 30-bed Stroke/Urology unit, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active TX or compact RN license.
Details- Position is located on a 30-bed Stroke and Urology (Med Surg Telemetry) unit
- Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
- 13-week contract
- Epic is used for charting
- Navy or maroon scrubs required
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Provides direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, communicating patient condition, and carrying out physician and nursing orders
- Coordinates discharge planning needs with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
