American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit position requiring at least 2 years of experience, with TX or compact RN licensure and cardiovascular/vascular care background.

• 30-bed Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit within a hospital setting
• Cardiovascular and vascular patient population including POD#1 CABG, AVR, MVR, AAA repair, lobectomy, CEA, NSTEMI, STEMI, ACS, sepsis, GIB, post-DKA, respiratory failure, and tracheostomy patients
• Experience with HFNC, BiPAP, stable GTT management, and pacemakers required
• Day shift: 06:45–19:15
• 13-week assignment
• Floating required within the critical care service line

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (both must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiovascular and vascular nursing experience required
• Experience with HFNC, BiPAP, and stable GTT management required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Care for high-acuity cardiovascular and vascular patients in a stepdown environment, including post-surgical and acute cardiac cases
