American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit position requiring at least 2 years of CV/vascular experience and a TX or compact RN license.

• Work in a 30-bed Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit within a hospital setting
• Care for patients requiring HFNC, BiPAP, and stable drip/GTT management
• Manage post-op Day 1 CABG, AVR, and MVR patients
• Treat CV and vascular conditions including AAA repair, lobectomy, and CEA
• Care for NSTEMI, STEMI, ACS, sepsis, GIB, post-DKA, and respiratory failure patients
• Provide care for patients with pacers and trachs
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• Floating required between critical care service lines
• 13-week assignment

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• Cardiovascular and vascular nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide full SS# and DOB for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care within a cardiovascular stepdown unit supporting critical care service lines
• Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
• Only one submission allowed per candidate system-wide for Ascension facilities
• Travelers should discuss assignment extensions with management approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
