American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med Surg Telemetry position requiring TX or compact license and 2 years of experience.
Details- 29-bed Medical Surgical unit with some Cardiac population and Telemetry monitoring
- Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses Epic charting system
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (must be AHA)
- ACLS certification required (must be AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols
- Implements and monitors patient care plans while recording and communicating patient condition
- Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Carries out physician and nursing orders and assesses discharge planning needs
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
- Navy or maroon scrubs required
- Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate, which varies by facility location
- Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
