As a product auditor on the Quality team in BAWA Waco, TX you will perform quality inspections to ensure our machines meet specifications. You will document quality issues into a computer system and flag any found defects for repairs.

• Perform quality inspection based on the checklist of inspection points/procedures
• Complete inspections using a checklist and tooling provided (static tools, electrical tests, templates, etc.)
• Perform overall quality inspection at quality gates or at pre-delivery inspection
• Inspect products to ensure they meet the specifications
• Document quality issues into a computer system and flag defects for repair
• Calibration of assembly tools
• Process time studies and audits as needed for quality improvements
• Cross-functional communication to complete tasks
• Contributing team member

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
• Ability to perform repetitive operations
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

• 6 months of mechanical assembly or logistics experience
• Experience in SAP software
• Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

• Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with inspection and product auditing processes
• Intermediate proficiency with measurement equipment and gauges
• Strong working knowledge of Assembly/Manufacturing practices
• Advanced problem solving/troubleshooting ability
• Ability to follow Standard Work
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Heavy equipment experience

Shift: 1st shift hourly position

Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM;
Overtime on Fridays as needed.

Compensation Range: $20.70 - $26.90

Location: Waco, TX – BAWA (BCP Assembly Waco Attachment) group
