Restaurant Assistant Manager
Location: Waco, Texas
Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 annually (plus bonus potential)
We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of a high‑volume restaurant. Working closely with the General Manager, this leader will help ensure efficient operations, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and a consistent, welcoming guest experience.
The position calls for a professional who can balance operational discipline with strong people leadership—someone comfortable managing fast‑paced service while coaching and motivating a team.
Key Responsibilities Operations Management- Oversee daily front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities to ensure smooth service execution.
- Monitor food preparation and enforce sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment; coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with alcohol service regulations and applicable local requirements.
- Train, coach, and mentor staff to support performance and career growth.
- Assist with scheduling and evaluate team productivity and attendance.
- Address performance concerns through coaching and corrective action when needed.
- Support employee lifecycle processes in accordance with company policies.
- Promote exceptional service standards across every stage of the dining experience.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues to build loyalty and repeat business.
- Leadership: Ability to guide and motivate a team in a fast‑paced setting.
- Operational Knowledge: Understanding of restaurant procedures, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Organization: Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Technology: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and POS/restaurant management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior restaurant experience required; supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete company training upon hire.
- A focus on driving sales and controlling food and labor costs.
- Flexibility and composure in a fast‑moving environment.
- A positive leadership style that builds team morale and accountability.
- A genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and company standards.
- Competitive base salary of $60,000 – $65,000 annually.
