What You’ll Do

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Operates forklift following company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations;

carries out tasks, communicates progress and information, determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback. Receives stocks and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow in accordance with company policy and procedures for equipment utilization, merchandising, inventory exceptions, shelf capacity corrections, and required paperwork logs.

Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services. Maintains facility safety per company policies by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following steel standard guidelines, and correcting and reporting unsafe situations.

Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company standards by properly zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up displays, maintaining modular integrity, sorting, staging, and delivering merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal items, processing defective merchandise, following sanitation and food‑safety procedures, and monitoring shrink, security, and safety risks.

Ensures club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking throughout the day, staging, selecting, and staging products per policy, ensuring associates pick orders within acceptable time frames, and performing occasional accuracy audits. Handles inventory moves and displays goods in safe and correct ways, tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels, controls shrinkage, reports poor inventory practices and low in‑stock levels, uses inventory tools and equipment safely, reports unsafe conditions, and informs management when forklifts are not in proper working order.

Proactively identifies customers who need help, actively engages them, and assists with technology services and items; models and helps others with technology services; identifies shrink opportunities, product, service, and area problems, and takes steps to fix them; properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized, stocked correctly, and promptly fixed. Embraces differences and creates a culture of belonging, works as a team, builds trust, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity, mentors others, recognizes contributions, and acts with integrity, maintaining the highest standards of ethics and compliance while supporting Walmart’s regenerative vision.
