Position SummaryMember Frontline Services Associate provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues, promotes Sam's Club products, and assists members with purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges while ensuring a safe and organized shopping environment.
Responsibilities- Provides member service and assistance throughout the store.
- Maintains the checkout area and processes member purchases.
- Resolves member issues and concerns, promotes products and services, and provides guidance on self‑service technology.
- Assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for various membership and payment types.
- Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
- Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise and reports unsafe situations to facility management.
- Maintains entrance and exit areas, acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, and identifies member needs.
- Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items.
- Arranges and organizes merchandise, zones the area, and identifies shrink and damages.
- Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; executes emergency response procedures; and ensures compliance with security and safety practices.
- Assists with training Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new program roll‑out training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00 (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location). Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
