Job SummaryAs Store Manager, you will be responsible for all day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent customer experiences, employee performance, and budget-beating sales. You will lead the store’s financial performance, staff development, merchandising, operations, and human resources functions.
Responsibilities- Financial Performance – 50%:
Drive sales, participate in budgeting and financial reviews, coach the team. - Staff Performance – 25%:
Lead training and conduct performance reviews, host bi‑weekly leadership meetings. - Store Merchandising & Operations – 15%:
Maintain a shopper‑friendly store, manage inventory, supply, and Quick Books exports. - Human Resources – 10%:
Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, team development, and HR processes.
- Retail Know‑How:
Experience with KPIs, profit & loss statements, budgets in a retail environment. - Leadership
Experience:
Led a team for at least one year, coaching and inspiring staff. - Retail Roots:
Minimum two years of retail work. - Operational Chops:
Managing inventory, merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and customer service. - Love for Bikes:
Passion for cycling and ability to help customers discover bikes. - Problem‑Solving
Skills:
Quick on feet and able to resolve challenges. - Communication Game:
Clear, respectful communication across email, huddles, and customer interactions. - Comfort with Change:
Flexible, resourceful, and adaptable to fast‑moving retail environments.
