Axis Care is seeking a Business Development Representative to help hit its aggressive sales and growth goals. As a Business Development Rep, you will be on the front lines of engaging with our new and potential customers. You will be directly responsible for the initial prospecting and qualifying of sales leads, gathering prospect information by researching their company, potential opportunities for engagement, and understanding the decision‑making structure for engagement with Axis Care.
Working directly with the VP of Growth and sales team, you will build a plan of action to reach out and engage with new prospects and create awareness with each prospect. Your main goal will be to create positive connections that lead them to connect with one of our sales directors in exploratory calls.
This role is a gateway to a great future inside the Axis Care sales and account management family. It will provide a foundational understanding of the value propositions of Axis Care’s products and prepare you for future sales roles.

Duties and Responsibilities- Research and develop a list of potential prospective clients
- Cold call, email, and socially connect with targeted accounts and contacts inside those accounts
- Use Axis Care’s marketing and sales enablement collateral to resource prospects during their buying journey with the right information at the right time
- Maintain an updated list of current targets, with accurate scores and interaction information
- Consistently build and implement a nurturing plan for prospects who are not currently ready to purchase but have a high likelihood of partnering with Axis Care in the future
- Create clear and concise information on each client ready to meet with an Axis Care Sales Director for an in‑depth discovery call
- Achieve and exceed quotas set by the VP of Growth
- Use Hub Spot CRM to keep performance and funnel organized
- Proven track record of overcoming objections and creating a welcoming environment for customers
- Ability to thrive in a hard‑driving, fun, goal‑oriented sales environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Positive, can‑do attitude, problem solver, and solution finder
- Past work with a sales CRM—preferably Hub Spot
- Previous experience in an inside sales/cold calling environment is a bonus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
