Our client, an established aerospace manufacturer serving commercial and military aviation, is seeking an OEM Account Manager to manage key customer relationships and drive bookings, new business, pricing, proposals, and account growth. This position works closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, and sales leadership.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of applied sales experience with broad knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry and its requirements, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience selling technical products and the demonstrated ability to close sales.
  • Working knowledge of pricing, accounting fundamentals, and margin analysis.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, plus experience with databases and ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information and technology. This may require U.S. Person status, as defined by applicable law, or an approved export authorization.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience selling aircraft batteries, charging systems, mechanical aerospace components, or other engineered aerospace products.
  • Experience managing OEM accounts, repair or aftermarket business, independent sales representatives, or FAA-regulated customer requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Own annual bookings, sales, new-business, pricing, and account-growth targets for assigned OEM customers and product lines.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers in engineering, purchasing, operations, and program management.
  • Promote existing and new products to OEM customers and prospective accounts.
  • Develop proposal and pricing strategies, follow open quotations, and support customer presentations and closing negotiations.
  • Ensure customer orders match quotations, including price, payment terms, delivery, export compliance, and terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate contract reviews and communicate customer requirements across engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, and other internal departments.
  • Resolve customer delivery, service, and technical issues; manage RMAs and repair-order communication when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate CRM, quote, contract, and account records and provide monthly forecasts, activity reports, and key metrics.
  • Support annual sales planning, long-range revenue and margin analysis, market strategy, and expense management.
