Position Overview
Security Officer Patrol in Waco, TX – serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including Food/Beverage. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour
Job Schedule- Mon: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Tue: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Wed: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Thur: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Fri: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by performing site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity calmly and with a problem‑solving approach, and communicate details to site contacts, supervisors, and local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and the perimeter to identify and report security‑related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials and visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts, damaged property, and policy violations.
- Complete routine reports and maintain detailed activity logs related to patrols, incidents, deliveries, and other security‑related matters observed during the shift.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
