About UsOur client is a specialty trade contractor that is hiring for a specific 18+ month-long project!

Responsibilities- Designing and implementing fire alarm systems in accordance with project specifications and local and state codes.
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshooting and repairing defects in fire alarm systems promptly and efficiently.
- Consulting with clients, architects, and engineers to determine the most effective fire alarm solutions for each project.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on fire safety measures and fire alarm system operations.
- Coordinating with other construction professionals to ensure fire alarm systems are integrated seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Keeping up-to-date with advancements in fire alarm technology and incorporating these into your work where appropriate.
- Complying with all safety regulations and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Preparing and presenting detailed reports on the status of fire alarm systems.
- A valid Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire alarm system design, installation, maintenance, and repair, preferably within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in the use of fire alarm testing and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of fire safety regulations and standards.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of environmental conditions.
- Proficiency in project management, with a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
