Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and a strong understanding of construction plumbing practices. This role requires a commitment to quality work, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, including residential and commercial properties.
Duties- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
- Conduct field service work as needed to address customer plumbing issues.
- Perform HVAC-related tasks as required by specific projects.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams on‑site to coordinate plumbing installations.
- Execute heavy lifting when necessary for the installation of large fixtures or equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding mechanical systems.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations on the job site.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Experience working in diverse environments, including residential homes and commercial construction sites.
