Meter Technician

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Utilities Superintendent, this position is responsible for the maintenance of water meters for residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service while supporting various departmental operations.

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Valid Class C Texas driver's license is required

• Must obtain a Class D Water license within one (1) year from the date of hire or date moved to the position
• May be required to obtain certification or licensure specific to area of assignment after date of employment at the City’s expense
