Job Summary
Service, installs, maintains, and repairs Chiller: air‑cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, water‑cooled chillers.

- Service, operates, maintains and troubleshoots more complex Chillers (air‑cooled, centrifugal, water‑cooled) systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in complete equipment teardown and comprehensive system diagnostics.
- Coordinates work processes on large projects. Performs disassembly and reassembly of large commercial equipment to perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance as indicated in the service agreement. Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
- Completes service contracts, quoted projects and demand service calls as directed. Develops long‑term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
- Ability to provide customer solutions to customers. Communicates and documents project status to all project stakeholders.
- Participates in technician on‑call‑stand‑by rotation as dictated by business unit policies and procedures.
- Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers.
- Safely operates motor vehicles and trailers as evidenced by past driving performance record.
- Meets requirements of fleet safety and driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.
- Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.
- Able to work effectively with app‑based software.
- Proven track record with 7+ years of specialized experience in Commercial Chiller Service, demonstrating deep technical expertise and industry knowledge.
- Full teardown Chiller is a plus.
- Experience with centrifugal and screw chillers (Trane, York, Carrier, Daikin, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills on 200‑1000 ton systems
- Knowledge of VFDs, pumps, cooling towers, and BAS controls
- Advanced knowledge of service processes, techniques and codes is required.
- Proficient in reading complex schematics and prints
- Proven ability to excel as a proactive, self‑directed professional who can manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to display a professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capabilities.
