We’re hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at our onsite facility in Hubbard, TX. The role focuses on maintenance and repair for a variety of company‑owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts, providing support for contractors and helping build the future of construction.
Sign‑on bonus
: up to $3,000 at the manager’s discretion based on experience.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM with overtime pay after 40 hours. This role is subject to on‑call scheduling with additional compensation.
As a Field Technician you will use our technology platform to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues by pulling data across hundreds of equipment models. Your focus will be on repairing equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring care for documentation, and supporting customers at job sites.
- Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
- Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
- Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment
- Assist in training lower‑level technicians as needed
- Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily
- Assist with pick‑up and delivery of equipment & parts
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
- Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle
- Receive year‑round OEM training supplied by the company
- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must own tools applicable to the position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
- High School diploma; trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- May be required to be clean shaven to enter certain worksites
- Position is safety‑sensitive and requires passing a 10‑panel drug screen
