Pay and Benefits- Pay range: $30 per hour, depending upon experience

Monday - Friday: 7 am - 5 pm.
Worksite:
Landfill Site in Waco, TX.
- Repair equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front-end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars.
- Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance as set out by the site checklist.
- Complete paperwork and admin tasks such as work orders, card files, PM checklists, and oil samples.
- Service and maintain other equipment such as light plants, water pump, welders, and related equipment.
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance mechanic experience on heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and medical examination.
Ideal candidate qualities: works independently, accountable for quality, good communicator, curious and determined fixer.
Physical DemandsThe job requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing. Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, heat, and humidity in both indoor and outdoor environments. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
