Job Skills / Requirements SUMMARYMaintain trees and shrubs, through systematic pruning and integrated pest management as part of an overall plant health care program for the landscape at a client site in the southwest region of the United States. Supervise and perform daily, specialty tasks such as cabling, bracing, and safe removals of trees. Maintain digital records of plant health assessments, removal inventory, and related storm damage.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture or related field (preferred, not required)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees or the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to conduct detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- ISA Arborist Certification (desired, not required).
