Compensation: $16/hr

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Interview and verify applicant income to determine eligibility and calculate rent
• Review, log, and process applications, and maintain the waiting list
• Conduct orientations and counsel applicants on eligibility requirements
• Screen for local and federal preferences and conduct criminal history checks
• Issue vouchers and move-in packets, notify applicants of approval or denial
• Conduct annual reexaminations of income and household composition
• Maintain recordkeeping, compile reports, and respond to inquiries

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• 3+ years of general office experience required
• Willing to obtain HCV Counselor, Income Determination, and PBV Specialist certifications within year one
• Willing to complete LIHTC training within two years
• Able to meet bondability requirements
• Valid Texas driver’s license, eligible for Authority fleet auto insurance
