Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust software features and frameworks aligned with project objectives
  • Analyze and optimize system efficiency, scalability, and stability
  • Collaborate with team members to plan project timelines and execute design specifications
  • Review code, write unit tests, and document implementations to ensure quality
  • Integrate new features through cross-functional teamwork
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, continually improving user experience and performance
  • Participate fully in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Stay current with technology standards, trends, and emerging innovations
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience within DoD industry
  • Proficient in Java, C#, C++, Python, or similar languages
  • Strong knowledge of software development principles and design patterns
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Analytical problem-solving mindset
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork ability
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Windows and UNIX platforms (CENTOS, ROCKY, RHEL
    8)
  • Expertise in JavaFX and Java 11+
  • Familiarity with UML and modern design methodologies
  • Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity (Fortify)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub)
  • Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
