- Design and implement robust software features and frameworks aligned with project objectives
- Analyze and optimize system efficiency, scalability, and stability
- Collaborate with team members to plan project timelines and execute design specifications
- Review code, write unit tests, and document implementations to ensure quality
- Integrate new features through cross-functional teamwork
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, continually improving user experience and performance
- Participate fully in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Stay current with technology standards, trends, and emerging innovations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience within DoD industry
- Proficient in Java, C#, C++, Python, or similar languages
- Strong knowledge of software development principles and design patterns
- Experience with full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Analytical problem-solving mindset
- Effective communication skills and teamwork ability
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Windows and UNIX platforms (CENTOS, ROCKY, RHEL
8) - Expertise in JavaFX and Java 11+
- Familiarity with UML and modern design methodologies
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity (Fortify)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub)
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
- 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off
