Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Lifeguard at Waco Surf, located in Waco, TX. The Lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests in and around all water attractions, including the surf lagoon, water slides, lazy river, and wakeboarding areas. Key duties include monitoring and enforcing safety rules, responding swiftly to emergency situations, and providing high-quality customer service to guests.

The role also involves equipment inspections and actively maintaining a clean and safe aquatic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong swimming skills and physical stamina.
• Experience in water safety, first aid, and CPR certification (or a willingness to obtain these certifications).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with guests and coworkers.
• Strong ability to remain calm and take quick action during emergency situations.
• Previous lifeguarding or aquatic safety experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment and adapt to varying weather conditions.
• Must be dependable, responsible, and possess strong observational skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
