Haul Truck Driver

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Haul Truck Driver based in Waco, TX
. As a Mobile Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment.

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Safely operate a haul truck, farm tractor, water truck or rubber tire backhoe
• Operate equipment in quarry
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
• Cleans equipment and clears obstacles in work environment

• Positive, team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• No prior experience required, training provided

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when responsibilities require work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
