P&D Driver

Job Overview

As a P&D Driver, you pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally. You will be the face of Southeast Freight Lines, serving our customers regularly.

Drive tractor‑trailer in various conditions, operate the vehicle including coupling/uncoupling, connecting lines, and adjusting equipment. Conduct vehicle inspections; manage loading and unloading of cargo; ensure the accuracy and compliance of transport documents, especially when handling hazardous materials; navigate and maneuver in heavy traffic and tight spaces; report incidents or delays; adhere to all safety regulations and company policies; focus on excellent customer service and professionalism.

Minimum 6 months (1 year preferred) of driving experience;
High School Diploma or GED. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements for HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers, with no automatic restrictions. Must be at least 21 years old; able to read, comprehend, and write in English; perform basic mathematical calculations; handle receipts; read maps and road signs; maintain driving logs. Must meet DOT physical qualifications and pass alcohol and drug tests.

Pay: $91,728–$100,191 annually (average may vary based on experience, hours, and location). Job type:
