Sherwin‑Williams is hiring a Local Night Shuttle Driver based in the Waco, TX area. The position offers an annual salary of $92,200 – $97,100, based on miles driven and activities performed, and includes the stability and security of our award‑winning private fleet.
As a professional driver, you will safely move product between Sherwin‑Williams manufacturing sites and distribution centers, plus other duties as required within the Southwest Region.
Responsibilities- Transport and deliver items to destinations in a safe, timely manner
- Comply with all DOT requirements and FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate DOT trip logs
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Provide excellent customer service
- Current Sherwin‑Williams employee
- Valid Class‑A Commercial Driver’s License
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC)
- At least five (5) years of Class‑A combination road driving experience within the last ten (10) years, or one year of Sherwin‑Class‑A combination tractor‑trailer driving experience
- Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain both upon conditional offer
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for public interaction, traffic signage, official inquiries, and record entries
- Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements
- Experience backing a CMV into tight spaces (e.g., retail, parking, driveways)
- Freight touch experience (unloading and moving freight pre‑ and post‑delivery, retail freight touch)
- Pay: $.73 CPM (includes $.078 CPM per diem) plus activity pay; eligible for safety bonus subject to plan terms
- Consistent freight and miles
- Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 6 pm–6 am (hours may vary)
- Newer Volvo automatics; primarily pulling 48′–53′ trailers
- Weekly payroll
