Job Summary
Sherwin-Williams is now hiring a Local Night Shuttle Driver based out of the Waco, TX area! You can earn an average of $92200 - $97100 annually, depending on miles driven and activities performed. Enjoy the stability and security of being part of our growing Award-Winning private fleet.
As a professional driver, you are responsible for safe, on‑time movement of product between Sherwin‑Williams manufacturing sites and distribution centers and other additional duties required in the Southwest Region.
Job duties include contact with other employees and customers, operating a commercial motor vehicle as well as heavy machinery, and managing access to raw materials, finished merchandise, and other items of value in both supervised and unsupervised contexts. A criminal history review is required to protect the safety of staff, vendors and the public.
Responsibilities- Transport and deliver items to destinations in a safe, timely manner.
- Comply with all DOT requirements and FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain accurate DOT trip logs.
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Valid Class‑A Commercial Driver's License.
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- At least five (5) years of Class‑A combination (tractor/trailer) road driving experience within the last ten (10) years.
- Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain both upon offer.
- Authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for work visa now or in the future.
- Proficient in reading and speaking English for communication, signage, and record entry.

- Experience backing a CMV into tight spaces (e.g., retail spaces, parking lots, driveways).
- Freight touch experience (unloading and moving freight before and after delivery).
- Pay: $0.73 CPM (includes $0.078 CPM per diem) plus activity pay; eligibility for safety bonus.
- Consistent freight and miles.
- Hours:
Tuesday‑Saturday, 6:00 pm – 6:00 am; may vary. - Vehicle: newer Volvo automatics; primarily pulling 48–53' trailers.
