CDL Driver & Stocker

Position Summary

The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State regulations, and to deliver all freight undamaged. The role requires working as a team player to load, unload, and deliver building materials while providing world‑class customer service.

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer, prioritizing personal and public safety.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to provide world‑class customer service.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Minimum Class B license;
  Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear 3‑year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

• Remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
• Lift heavy building materials up to 80–100 lbs. during load and unload operations.
• Move materials weighing up to 80 lbs. while unloading flatbed and operating boom vehicle.
• Work predominantly outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Operate commercial vehicle and/or boom vehicle efficiently.

• Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
• Manage stress based on customer deadlines.
• Multitask and receive directions.
• Communicate solutions quickly when problems arise.
• Demonstrate sound judgment.
