CDL Driver

The CDL Driver (Class A or

B) is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of materials to customer locations and job sites. This role combines driving responsibilities with hands-on support in loading, unloading, and securing materials. Depending on the business unit, deliveries may include oversized or specialized loads such as building components. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs

Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load

Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site

Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading

Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products

Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

Must be 21 years of age or older

Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing

At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience

Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck

Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
